Steel and Stone

The priorities in this large hillside landscape included:
reducing lawn
bringing seasonal color and interest
create a beautiful out space to enjoy and caretake
We incorporated steel and stone walls, winding creeks following the necessary drainage patterns, antique glass buoys collected while the living in Japan, and lots of ‘low-wides’ - spreading xeric shrubs to cover the land recovered from turf.
“ About a year ago Lisa re-designed the landscape in our front yard. As it came through the winter through spring and into the summer I am so pleased with how beautifully it changes through the season. We have so much color and interest now, both from the seasonal blooms and the colors of the foliage… Lisa was a delight to work with. She listened to our goals for the yard and came through with many wonderful suggestions. I definitely recommend her!:” — Scott A.
