The goals for this 20-year old landscape:

• revisit and renew foundation plantings and planting beds

• refresh the entryway

• re-shape the patio to improve the view from above and to enjoy with the neighbors

• ease of maintenance (clients live between in Colorado and California)

We removed the amorphous curved edge of the concrete patio and updated with a porcelain paver edge and walkway, adding modern lines to reflect the shape of the deck and turn to face the stunning views of the front range. Most of the foundation plantings were replaced and the front was revisited, enhancing around the culverts at the new mailbox and expanding the beds. River boulders were added to retain and complement the cobble veneer and a new planting composition frames the entryway.
